Hue Easy Rider Motorbike Tour to Phong Nha

We kick off the journey from Hue, riding along the scenic Highway 1A toward Quang Tri Town. Our first stop is the “Highway of Horror”, a powerful reminder of the tragic events during the summer of 1972.

From there, we visit the Long Hung Church and Quang Tri Old Citadel, both of which stood at the heart of an intense 81-day battle between North and South Vietnamese forces.

Next, we arrive at the iconic Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, also known as the 17th Parallel—the former border that divided Vietnam during the war.

We’ll stop for a break at Cua Tung Queen Beach, where you can relax and enjoy lunch with a sea breeze.

Overnight in Cua Tung, just a few minutes from Vinh Moc Tunnels.

After breakfast by the beach, we continue inland toward the mountainous region of Khe Sanh.

• We’ll also pay our respects at the Truong Son War Martyr Cemetery, honoring the brave souls who gave their lives on the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

• Con Thien & Camp Carroll – key locations in the former Demilitarized Zone (DMZ)

• Beautiful countryside roads surrounded by rice fields and rubber plantations

We arrive in Khe Sanh and visit the Khe Sanh Combat Base Museum, where you can explore helicopters, bunkers, and war memorabilia.

Today’s ride is all about adventure! We follow the winding, remote stretches of the Western Ho Chi Minh Trail, cutting through dense jungle, high mountain passes, and remote valleys.

Highlights include:

• Stops at hidden waterfalls and viewpoints

• Riding through Pa Co and Van Kieu minority villages

• Enjoying untouched nature and serenity far from the main roads

We arrive in Phong Nha by evening and settle into your accommodation near the national park.

Start your final day with a peaceful boat ride on the Son River to explore the magical Phong Nha Cave, followed by a visit to Tien Son Cave, with its shimmering rock formations.

In the afternoon:

• Refresh yourself at the turquoise Suoi Nuoc Mooc Springs

• Visit Tam Co Cave and Kilometer Zero, the symbolic starting point of the Ho Chi Minh Trail

We finish the day by riding along the Eastern Ho Chi Minh Trail to Dong Hoi, where your unforgettable motorbike adventure comes to an end.
