Expect changing scenery, coffee-growing country, lakeside villages and mountain roads. Your guide can suggest short visits to local workshops, viewpoints and markets when they are open and suitable on the day. The itinerary is a route guide rather than a promise that every optional stop will be available. Roads, weather and guest pace can change the order of visits.

Leave Da Lat for the countryside and ride through the coffee-growing landscape toward Lak Lake. Depending on access and time, pause at farms, a silk workshop or the Linh An Pagoda area, where Elephant Falls is viewed from outside the closed waterfall site. Reach Lak Lake in the late afternoon and settle into the accommodation confirmed for your booking. A lakeside walk is possible if time and weather allow.
Enjoy the lake area before travelling toward Buon Ma Thuot on local roads. Your guide can introduce highland farming and village life at suitable stops. A waterfall visit may be possible if the route, opening conditions and weather permit; swimming is never guaranteed. Stay overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.
Ride north through the Central Highlands, with breaks for coffee, food and viewpoints. The route passes farming towns and sections associated with the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Your guide can explain the history and present-day life of the region without turning the day into a rushed checklist. Overnight in Pleiku.
Start with a stop near Bien Ho (Sea Lake) if conditions suit, then continue to Kon Tum. Explore the wooden church and public areas of the town where open. A village visit is arranged only when welcomed locally and with respect for residents; no orphanage visit is included. Overnight in Kon Tum.
Follow the mountain roads north from Kon Tum toward Kham Duc, allowing time for breaks and weather changes. Your guide may point out landmarks linked to the former Ho Chi Minh Trail, while keeping the day focused on the ride and scenery. Overnight in Kham Duc. On the five-day version, the Pleiku–Kon Tum–Kham Duc sections are combined into a longer Day 4 with fewer stops; the final ride to Hoi An then takes place on Day 5.
Continue from Kham Duc through the Truong Son foothills toward Hoi An. Stop for lunch and photos as conditions allow. Arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon or evening depending on traffic and the agreed route. A waterfall stop is optional only when safe and accessible. The five-day tour follows this final section on Day 5, after its longer previous day.
